Integrity is the first step to true greatness. Men love to praise, but are slow to practice it. To maintain it in high places costs self-denial; in all places it is liable to opposition, but its end is glorious, and the universe will yet do it homage.–Charles Simmons
Please feel free to send your favorite pictures of our dear friend, Perry Hines, and I will add them to this slideshow.

  1. Tony Morris says:

I knew Perry for a dozen years; travelled and worked with him, here and abroad and will miss him no matter where I go. No matter what his job was, he was always grounded and gave honest advise and answered all questions to the best of his ability. I hear his laugh as I am writing this. I will hear his laugh where ever I go. We lost a great friend, colleague and tennis official.

Perry taught me so much that is still hard to believe he is gone. He was there whenever I needed an answer to something. I knew if I needed something I could call him and no matter where he was he would answer. He will be missed very much. The tennis world lost a great friend and mentor. Keli Smither
