Subject: Chair Workshop in Tacoma – 06-07-2025

PNW Tennis Officials,

We have confirmation that there will be an in-person Chair Workshop on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 in Tacoma, Washington.

The “clinic”, as some call it, will be held at the Tacoma Lawn Tennis Club (502 N Borough Rd, Tacoma, WA 98403) from 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM PDT.

Please go to this interest form if you are interested in attending, or send the link to others who need or will need this workshop to complete their certification. I have access to the interest form responses so I will be able to follow up and direct people to register. The sign-up page for the workshop is here.

If you have
already attended a chair workshop but you would like to attend another, you will need to contact the USTA at officiating@usta.com to register.

So far, we only have one trainer scheduled to come out, but if we get over 6 participants, we will request a second one.

Some other things to relay would be the following:

• Lunch will be provided and paid for by the USTA
• Within 24-48 hours, 2 Tennis Knowledge Credits will be added to the transcripts of participants who attended the workshop for the first time.
